Responses of Khaled Dardir 1. What has motivated you to run for Jersey City school board? The main reason I decided to run for the Jersey City school board, is that it can be improved. We are entering a phase where we will be in control and not the state. Anyone running for this kind of position should have only one idea in mind, and that is to serve the public. To have every student, parent, and citizen satisfied with the results. To have the students, parents, and citizens trust what we are doing, with complete faith. 2. What are your top goals for your three year term? My goals are getting rid of private school vouchers, update our facilities, and find a better solution for charter schools. Our schools can and will rival any private school, and with the money saved from private school vouchers we can expand substantially. Also, we need to update our facilities, it should be a concern for our teachers, students, and parents. Finally, charter schools has to be restudied and redirected. Thank You.
